After ordering a couple pairs off of Amazon that I thought didn't have an elastic waistline, someone suggested colorfulkoala! I have leggings that I had bought off of Amazon, but didn't think to look for shorts. I FINALLY found what I've been searching for!! High enough rise for us tall ladies (I'm 5'11", 175#) long enough inseam that they don't look like biker shorts or that I'm having to pull them down to cover the cheeks. They stayed put perfectly, I never had to adjust them once during a crossfit type wod that involved a whole lot of squatting. I plan to wear these for Spartan race. I ordered my normal size (L) and 1 size up just incase, definitely size up! They are single lined, but seem to run on the smaller side. The picture is where they ended up after the wod.

My absolute fav work out shorts, great to run in, fits a big phone in the pocket without it falling out, squat proof and I have had mine for over a year now and they still look brand new. I have about 8 pairs and also wear them under dresses or skirts. Highly recommend. I'm a size S and fit a size 10 so sizing is true to size.
Amazing shorts!!! I have the brushed 28" leggings in XS so bought these in an XS too. However, I would size up! They give me a camel toe and cut in a bit on the thighs. The S would be a lot more comfortable.
I was surprised how much I liked these shorts. the material is soft and they do have a good fit. They are definitely really great quality for the price.
They are a great length and do have a bit of compression to them. The hem on the thigh I do find a bit tight compared the the fit of the short. It might loosen over time. It is definitely a high waste. The material is buttery but not quite as soft as some of the other brands that I have. It is definitely a pretty good comparison. I often get a size 6 or 8 in other leggings and got the medium in this short.
I wear this type of short all the time for workouts and just logging around. I am very likely to buy at least a second pair. You just can't beat this price. I would definitely recommend trying them.
